This is my personal list of annual events I would like to see (again). They are not all that near but most are reachable by car or train. As there is always many event’s on in and around here. | **Event** | **Time** | **Notes** | | ----- | ---- | ----- | | Three Kings | 5 January | Kids dream where processions on horseback throw candy in the streets. | | Spanish Formula 1 | May | Within easy reach from Barcelona | | Sant Joan | 23 June | Stay away if you hate noisy fireworks. Mostly loud and a few feeble pretty rockets. | | Barcelona Harley Days | Early July | Not really an annual event but was on in 2008; 2010 and 2011. | | Festa Major de Gracia | 15 August | The biggest fiesta major in Barcelona. Last 7 days and around 20 streets are decorated with bands playing every day. | | New Year | 31 December | Spanish new year is more party and less fireworks. Most restaurants and bars will have small parties going. Gracia is great with loads of pleasant people having a good time. |
